Lyft: Round Up & Donate

To uplift our communities, Lyft designed a charitable feature where passengers round up fares to the nearest dollar and donate the difference. Since the initial launch in 2017, the Round Up & Donate feature has raised over $10 million for charity.

 

My Involvement

  • Consulted on UI/UX copy during initial design phase

  • Developed support launch plan to correctly route customer outreach

  • Identified potential pain points prior to launch

  • Wrote and organized public-facing help center and internal associate content

  • Analyzed support tickets and communicated improvement opportunities post launch
